I remember how
when we left North Haven,
going South on 91,
I would bear left,
for 95 North,
and you would bear right,
for 95 South;
and from each car,
a hand went up
with the ASL sign
for "I love you"
and I would
get a lump in my throat,
as I struggled to
maintain my speed
and stay in my lane;
I'm still struggling.
