Diaz Tree Service

harvey gable

Thomas Diaz
most days
in the basin
sun swung
from atop palms
a stubby machete
smartly trimming
spent brown fronds
eyeing each as
they wisped
and rattled
to the ground.

Below Thomas
traffic
generally residential
stop-n-go
would often
thru  (glare aside)
window glass offer
in mundane
domestic repose
a feminine array of
make-up applicators
school-kid toters
and an occasional
loose robed
grocery getter's
rumpled cleavage
display.

Physical Geology

harvey gable

The intensity
with which
thru neon etched
windshield
Pedal Sweeny
fussed about
the dash-board
of the Ranchero
outside the bar-door
lends one to
consider on
perhaps a less
than intimate
level Pedal could
very well be
on to something.

Fractured
glacial moraine
bits
arranged wedge like
flitter back-lit
spontaneous
parking-lot aquarium
fresh-water
school of rocks
the origin and
specie Pedal
when prodded
may slowly reveal
utilizing an
audible composite
of fully guttural
clicks and blatant
eye-rolls.
